This Pin Oak slab is kiln dried and ready to be made into whatever you can dream of: a table top, barn door, room divider, conference table, desk, kitchen island, bar, it’s up to you what it becomes. The overall dimensions are 2 1/4″ thick x 60″ wide x 8′ 2″ long. This slab was kiln dried with the latest technology, (it’s vacuum kiln dried) which makes it more stable and allows it to keep a more natural color. Because it’s kiln dried, there won’t be any bugs. This slab came from a tree in Greeneville, Tennessee that was deemed a hazard by the local utility company. It had dropped a large limb in the road that exposed a huge rot pocket in the tree. The utility company cut it down and I was able to purchase it from the landowner.
